New to Reaching Out?

We are a fully inclusive community. That means that regardless of family makeup, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender or race – you are seen, heard, welcomed and invited to sit at our table.

All our leadership team and key people are volunteers – including our Pastor, Youth Director and CFO. This helps us to maximize the impact of all that is donated. We always strive for transparency and input for our budgets and approvals. All people who work with children are also registered youth workers based on the Ontario requirements.

We have two entrances to our building at 125 Queen Street South in Mississauga – one at the front and one at the back. Our back entrance is fully-accessible and so is our building. We invested in an elevator and bathrooms that can accommodate those with disabilities or wheelchairs. Some other key elements of our facility include:

  • Shower
  • Washer and Dryer
  • History Room
  • Sitting area
  • Full kitchen
  • Parking at the back of the building

Reaching Out has various programs and events that run throughout the year. Be sure to check our events calendar, but here are some examples of the kinds of events you can expect:

  • All In Sunday: our intergenerational program utilizing the S.T.E.M. subjects taught by a professional teacher. Yes, we do science!
  • Card Making
  • Coffee & Conversations
  • Board Game Night
  • Book Talks
  • Annual picnic for all family and friends
  • Annual Christmas Party with Santa

There is always something going on – we would love to see you there!
