Book Study: Weird Church

This Sunday, our community is going to start looking at how to turn our community outreach model on it’s head with this book:

We have purchased some copies and will be reading through this book over the next few months. Having read the book, I can tell you it is eye-opening. It will change the way we look at our own experiences and inform how we can start to develop programming that will impact everyone.

Our journey begins by learning about the different levels of spiral dynamics, which is how the authors frame the premise in the book. They use colours to help explain spiral dynamics, helping the reader to visualize the different stages of thinking.

Our home gathering on Sunday will focus on this and provide an excellent visual way for us to wrap our heads around 21st Century programming. We hope many of you can join us for this first step on our Weird Church book study journey.
